THE WALKING MAN
60’ – 2019
A man walks across Rome, from the Imperial Fora to the Tiber’s mouth where Pasolini was killed. The camera follows from afar, his face never revealed. First conceived as a live performance by the DOM- collective, the work becomes cinema. Rome itself emerges in contrasts: centre and periphery, concrete and nature, history and globalization.
