Born and raised in Venice and now based in Bordeaux, he has always been fascinated by the spark that happens when film meets live performance. His passion lies in capturing the intensity of stage presence and the mystery of the creative process on screen.
Since 2015, Giulio has followed the work of visionary artists such as Romeo Castellucci, Shiro Takatani & Ryūichi Sakamoto, Heiner Goebbels, Jan Fabre & Mikhail Baryshnikov, Lucia Ronchetti, Meytal Blanaru, Mariangela & Vinicio Capossela.
His films, produced with French, Italian, and German companies and broadcasters, have journeyed across the world, finding audiences in international festivals and theatres.
