Ballata per Venezia is a piece of musical theatre for an actress-cellist and a sound designer, lasting fifty-five minutes. The text is a rewriting of original folk tales, arranged in a contemporary and multilingual way.
The sound landscape spans from analog to digital sound, spacing from traditional ballads to original compositions.
The stage seems submerged, punctuated by small sculptures made from pieces of wood smoothed by the sea.
